1.1 The contest entry period begins at 12:01 a.m. CST on March 29, 2021 and closes at 11:59 p.m. CST on May 8, 2021 (“Contest Period”).
2. How to Enter
2.1 Entry. Individuals who complete the online form with a valid first name, last name, email address and phone number will be eligible for the Contest.
2.2 Purchase not necessary. To enter the contest, individuals are not required to make a purchase. To receive the tuition credit, the winner must be enrolled in a Robertson diploma program before July 1, 2021. The contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited. By participating, you agree to be fully unconditionally bound by these Rules, and you represent and warrant that you meet the eligibility requirements set forth herein. In addition, you agree to accept the decisions of Robertson College as final and binding as it relates to the content. The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and local laws
Entries must be received before the end of the Contest Period. All entries become the property of Robertson. Robertson is not responsible for any change of email address, mailing address, and/or telephone number of entrants.
2.3 Eligibility. The Contest is open to residents of Canada, excluding Quebec, who are Canadian Citizens or Permanent Residents of Canada. Employees of Robertson are not eligible to enter the Contest. Individuals must enrol in a Robertson College diploma program. Certificate programs are not eligible for Tuition Credit. Tuition Credits will be processed once the student enrols in the diploma program. Robertson College will only invoice the excess of the total student fees from the tuition credit of $15,000. If the actual total student fees is less than the tuition credit of $15,000, no invoice will be made.
3.1 Grand Prize: The grand prize winner will receive up to $15,000 in tuition credits for Robertson College. Actual/appraised value may differ at time of prize award. The specifics of the prize shall be solely determined by the Sponsor. The prize is non-transferable. Any and all prize related expenses, including without limitation any and all federal, provincial, and/or any other taxes shall be the sole responsibility of the winner. No substitution of prize or transfer/assignment of prize to others or request for the cash equivalent by winners is permitted. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for Robertson College to use winner's name, likeness, and entry for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. The Winner will also need to sign a non-disclosure and acceptance agreement that will be delivered with their notification. This agreement must be signed for the prize to be awarded to the Winner.
3.2 Odds: The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
3.3 Winner selection and notification: Winner of the Contest will be selected in a random drawing under the supervision of the Sponsor. The winner will be notified via email to the email address they entered the Contest with within five (5) days following the winner selection. Robertson College shall have no liability for a winner's failure to receive notices due to winners' spam, junk e-mail or other security settings or for winners' provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information. If the selected winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim the prize within 15 days from the time award notification was sent, or fails to timely return a completed and executed declaration and releases as required, prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected.
3.4 Any additional costs and any applicable taxes associated with the Contest and incurred by the winner are the sole responsibility of the recipient and not the responsibility of Robertson.
3.5 No cash alternative or substitution of the Contest is permitted except by Robertson at its sole discretion.
3.6 Winner will receive their tuition credits applied to the diploma program of their choosing.
5. General Rules
5.1 By participating in the Contest, each individual agrees to: (a) be bound by these Official Contest Rules and the decisions of Robertson; and (b) release and hold harmless Robertson, and its Board of Governors, officers, employees, partner agencies and agents from and against any and all liabilities, losses, claims, demands, costs and expenses (including lawyer’s fees and litigation expenses on a solicitor and own client basis) whatsoever to which any of them may become subject arising from any actions or omissions by the entrant, including, but without limiting the generality of the foregoing, any claims arising from any alleged infringement or violation of any copyright, trade-mark, proprietary title or other intellectual property rights.
5.2 The decisions of Robertson in relation to this Contest will be final and binding on all entrants.
5.3 Robertson reserves the right to cancel, terminate, extend or suspend this Contest, at its sole discretion, at any time without prior notice.
5.4 Each entry is subject to verification by Robertson and/or its designated representatives. Entries made with multiple addresses, under multiple identities, or through the use of any device or artifice to enter multiple times or entries that are in excess of the permitted number of entries during the Contest period are automatically void. All entries obtained through unauthorized sources or which are incomplete, illegible, mutilated, altered, reproduced, forged, irregular or fraudulent in any way or otherwise not in compliance with these Official Contest Rules are automatically void.
5.5 Robertson reserves the right to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Contest, to be acting in violation of these Official Contest Terms and Conditions, or to be acting in an unfair or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any other person.
5.6 The personal information provided to enter the Contest is collected pursuant to the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act and will be used by Robertson for the administration of the Contest and related purposes. Personal information will only be accessible by authorized Robertson employees and representatives, or as otherwise permitted by law. Robertson will not disclose personal information to an outside third party unless permitted by law.
5.7 By entering, individuals provide consent to receive future communications from Robertson for recruitment, informational and promotional purposes. 5.8 The Contest is governed by all applicable laws of the province of Manitoba, the laws of Canada, as well as these rules.
